- What is "E-Print"?
E-Print is a term describing a complete digital printing system by-passing the need for film and plate requirement of the older offset printing technology.
By utilising the E-Print digital printing system, you are able to order and have your printed materials printed quickly, in some occassions, even for same day delivery which is not possible with the offset printer.
E-Print is ideal for a short-run and an on-demand printing requirements when you just have to have your business cards or brochures printed within a day or two.
- What is the largest size you can print on your Xeikon printer?
Our Xeikon printer is a web-fed digital colour press with maximum printable width of 475mm. Because it’s a web printer, we can print banners or large format poster with length such as 7 metres or longer depending on the designer imaginations.
Ideal for printing long banner or wallpaper.
Ranges of stock are available from gloss and silk coated paper, uncoated matte paper, gloss and uncoated vellum self-adhesive stocks, polyester films in white opaque, translucent and clear from 60gsm to 250gsm.

We also print range of labels such as name labels, product labels, sticker and many others. We can also print and cut your labels to any odd shapes that your designer might come up with.
- How long does it take for you to complete my order?
Depending on the kind of job that you might have, we can normally complete your job same day or next day service from your final approval. For job that involved some finishing, will add an extra day or two or longer depending on what is required to be done. For urgent work, please enquire our customer service on 02 9922 7288.
- What is a "proof"?
A proof is a way of ensuring that we have set your type accurately and that everything is correct according to your requirements. Typically, we will produce a proof which will be sent to you online or printed on paper which can be viewed in our store or delivered to you.
For full colour jobs, we usually produce a press-proof for your approval prior to the print run.
- Why do I need to look at a proof if I've already given you everything I need to have done?
We employ human beings to produce your work and, last time we checked, humans are not perfect. Your approval on the final proof is assurance that you have looked over every aspect of our work and approve it as accurate. It benefits everyone if errors are caught in the proofing process rather than after the job is completed and delivered.
- Do I still need to approve a proof if I bring my work in on disk?
We do strongly suggest that you checked and approved our press-proof to ensure that everything there (the fonts, the colour and the layout) is to your satisfaction.
If however, you have also included your own proof, we could check the proof for you and notify you of any descrepansies if any prior to the print run.
- What are the comparative advantages of producing my job on your duplicating devices versus producing them on your presses?
The advantages of our duplicating devices are best realized on runs of 1000 or less requiring black printing and where a fast turnaround is needed. If the piece included photos or halftone screens the copy quality would be lower than that achieved by the printing process. On longer runs or where multiple colours are desired, as well as when screens or halftones require higher quality, offset printing would be the best alternative. The only disadvantage of the printing process would be the longer production time requirements.
- How do I go about getting an estimate from you?
Well, since you are here, we would suggest you use our online estimate request form. Otherwise, the best way to ensure that we get all the information necessary to do an accurate quote, give us a call and talk with one of our customer service representatives.
